How to Apply
Before you do anything, we need to talk. Admission is based on your commitment and dedication to your field of interest as determined by an admissions interview. This selection process allows us to provide a unique creative learning environment filled with dedicated students. If you’re selected our devoted support team will walk you through the financial aid process and help you get all your admissions paperwork completed. Fill out the contact form, give us a call or send an email to schedule a time to speak with us in depth about our school so we can determine together if our portfolio school is the best fit for you given your goals and interests. We can offer you all the information you need on our programs, financial aid options, housing, career placement services, graduate careers and Atlanta city life. Interviews can be conducted in person or by phone if you’re not local. *International Student Procedures will differ.
Application & Enrollment Agreement
If you and your Admissions Representative agree that The Circus is where you belong, we’ll help you get started right away. Submit your application securely from our website. A non-refundable $100 application fee is due at the time of application.
Essay & Portfolio
Please submit 10-15 pieces that best represent your creativity. Your samples can include fine art, creative writing, music you’ve made, or photography. We would also like to see samples of work relevant to the program to which you are applying. A 200 word minimum essay is required addressing the following question: What inspires you and how do you inspire others?
Once an applicant, you are then required to submit your enrollment documents. Once we’ve received your enrollment documents, our Financial Services Director will contact you with specific deadlines for your Financial Aid paperwork. There are three steps necessary for completing the financial aid process outline in the instructions found here.
An official signed, sealed copy of your transcripts from the last school you attended is required. You may NOT attend classes here until we have this in your file. Please contact your most recent institution immediately upon submitting your application to The Creative Circus and have them send your transcript directly to us at 812 Lambert Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30324.
Orientation is held the week before the start of each quarter. This is when you get your schedule, student ID and handbook, and listen to the faculty explain what your new career may look like. Orientation is required for all new students. Plus, it’s fun. For specific dates, please consult the calendar of dates. You can also brush up on your reading and start familiarizing yourself with The Creative Circus catalog. Be sure to join our Facebook Student Ambassadors group so you can ask alumni & current students various questions. Each quarter has a Facebook Group just for those that are starting at the same time as you. This is a great way to meet classmates before you begin & to help you find a roommate if needed. Please ask Admissions to direct you to the correct group. Various students, staff & alumni have also blogged about their experiences in school & in their career as well.
